The business meeting for SEN is the opportunity to review what SEN has been doing, receive accounts and, importantly, elect new committee members. It will be held during the conference, at 7.30pm on Thursday 10th August. However, this is an invitation to all members to contribute, whether they will be at the conference or not.

Committee elections
Would you be interested in joining the committee, even if you cannot be at the conference?
The committee has been meeting every other month on zoom. Its main business has been to organise the conference but we have also been developing the programme of evening events. Ideas for further initiatives to strengthen our network would be welcome.
We have an informal constitution which allows for 6 – 8 elected members to serve for a period of 3 conference cycles (6 years in normal circumstances) with the option to stand for re-election for a further 2 conference cycles. This year there is space for up to 3 new members. In particular, the committee will need to appoint a new treasurer and find someone willing to take on managing the website and other technical administration.
